I cannot believe the impact this had on my life and only on the 3rd session. I've wanted to deal with certain things for so long and ste has now given me to tools to do just that! One word Amazing 👏
If anxiety, low moods, grief, emotional overload, difficult or traumatic experiences, fears, unwanted reactions, self-sabotage or something from your past are affecting your life, the important question is not only why you feel this way — it is how can things begin to change?
You may want to feel calmer, think more clearly, regain confidence, enjoy things again, stop carrying so much emotionally, respond differently or simply feel that you have more control over your own life.
I use NLP, EFT/Tapping, Time Line-style work, coaching, selected hypnosis techniques and other focused change-work approaches to help you work towards the change you want.
Sessions are primarily online. Face-to-face sessions may also be available where appropriate.

You may already have thought about it, talked about it, understood where it came from or tried to push through it. But if the same thoughts, feelings or behaviours are still affecting your life, the next question is what can help you create a different response now?
You overthink, replay conversations, anticipate what could go wrong or find it difficult to mentally settle.
Your mood, motivation, energy or enjoyment of things has changed and you want more of yourself back.
Something important has happened and the emotional weight of it is still affecting everyday life.
You avoid situations, opportunities or conversations because of what you expect to feel or what you believe might happen.
The emotion or behaviour can feel automatic, even when part of you knows you would rather respond differently.
A difficult or traumatic experience, relationship, event or period of your life still seems to influence how you feel or react now.
Avoidance, self-sabotage, overthinking, people-pleasing or other behaviours continue even though you know they are not helping.
Your emotions can feel intense, exhausting or difficult to settle, and you want to feel more in control of how you respond.
You keep doing something you want to stop — or avoiding something you want to do — even when you know the pattern is not helping you.
NLP — Neuro-Linguistic Programming — explores how thoughts, internal language, memories, beliefs, expectations and automatic responses combine to shape our experience.
One of its best-known ideas is “the map is not the territory.” Two people can experience the same situation and react completely differently because each person is responding through their own internal map of experiences, meanings and expectations.
NLP becomes practical when we ask: how is this response being created, and what would you rather experience instead?
Explore NLP & How It Works →Most people are looking to regain something the problem has taken away — peace of mind, confidence, enjoyment, connection, freedom, motivation or the feeling of being themselves again.
Some problems are focused. Some feel deeper and emotionally rooted. Others involve several things that have built up over time. You do not need to work out the right starting point or which option fits best — we can decide that together.
Designed for a more focused issue where you can identify one main thing you would like to change.
What happens? We establish what happens, when it happens, how you currently respond and what you want instead. We then work with the relevant thought, emotional or behavioural pattern using the approaches most appropriate for you.
You may know what the problem is — even why it started — but it still carries emotional weight or continues to trigger the same response.
What happens? We clarify what is happening now and what you want instead, then work more deeply with the emotional pattern. Depending on you and the issue, I may draw from NLP, EFT/Tapping, Time Line-style work, belief work, reframing or selected hypnosis techniques. We then test what appears to have changed and identify anything that still needs attention.
Appropriate follow-up and aftercare can also form part of deeper work.
Designed for someone who feels several areas are feeding into one another: overthinking, low moods, confidence, emotional baggage, fears, self-sabotage, past experiences, unwanted reactions or repeating patterns.
What happens? We start by mapping the bigger picture: what is happening, what seems connected, what has the greatest impact and what you most want to change. Because we have significantly more time, we can work across several connected areas rather than treating one issue in isolation.
Approaches may include NLP, EFT/Tapping, Time Line-style work, belief change, reframing, parts work, selected hypnosis techniques and other appropriate change processes.
For existing clients who want ongoing support after an initial Change Session or Breakthrough. Some people notice meaningful shifts early; others want continued sessions to strengthen new responses, work on the next issue or keep building on the progress already made.
What can follow-up sessions involve? Reviewing what has changed in real life, reinforcing useful responses, working through anything that has surfaced, practising NLP tools you can use yourself, addressing the next priority and keeping momentum.
You do not have to decide. That is what the Free Change Consultation is for.

For the business: a focused session built around the behaviours, relationships and performance areas that matter most to your organisation.

I have lived through depression, anxiety, social isolation, dark and suicidal thoughts, self-sabotaging patterns and periods when I stopped enjoying things that had previously mattered to me.
I searched for help, went through conventional routes and kept looking because I wanted something that could help me understand what was happening and how I could begin changing it.
My own first experience of NLP created a significant change for me. That was my personal experience, not a promise that everybody will have the same outcome. But it changed the direction of my life and led me to train professionally.
Over the last decade I have also lost friends through suicide and alcohol. That has only strengthened my belief that people who are struggling need to know they are not alone and that different forms of support may be available.

I am happy i reached out to steven for help. I felt like I am not alone anymore. The strategies and techniques ste has taught me are incredibly effective and has made an significant impact on my mindset and personal growth. We had talked about my triggers and what upsets me, we spoke through my childhood and things that I had kept to myself. Which had really helped me. We also spoke about how to reset my mind and that every situation doesn't need a reaction. I highly recommend steven, change doesn't happen overnight but with the right support change will happen faster than you think. This is ideal if your ready to breakthrough self sabotage, build confidence and start creating the life you actually want with peace, happiness and feeling free. Thank you ste
I joined Ste’s bootcamp almost a year ago at a time when my confidence was at a real low point. The support, structure and guidance he provides through bootcamp made a huge difference to me, which is why I was really excited to take part in the Emotional Reset course.
The course itself is incredibly insightful and practical. Ste has a way of explaining things that makes complex emotional and psychological responses easy to understand and apply in everyday life. One of the most valuable parts of the sessions so far has been learning how to recognise the physical signs that appear when something triggers an emotional response. It’s something many people experience without ever really noticing, and Ste breaks it down in a way that helps you become much more aware of what’s happening in the moment, before your mind moves into overthinking.
As well as explaining the theory, he teaches practical tools and techniques that help you bring yourself back to a healthier, calmer mindset when those moments arise. The focus on practical skills means you can use what you learn straight away in real situations.
I reached out to Steven after having brain surgery due to an haemorrhage, I was left with several cognitive issues along with mental health and personal anxieties as a consequence of the stress and trauma.
Then I discovered The Mind Coaching Academy, Steve has helped me to overcome my issues massively, giving me the tools and advice that I can use anytime or anywhere and whenever needed. Steven gave me the ability to view my negative emotions in a positive manner and how to deal with them.
I cannot express enough my gratitude to Steven for his most professional and encouraging approach and would encourage anyone facing difficulties to contact him for help in finding a more positive way of thinking.
Steven was so helpful and compassionate and he has given me the confidence to move forward and set good boundaries that serve me best. His caring, friendly personality, helped me feel relaxed , even though for me it was challenging to work through my problems . Thankyou so much Steven , I will come back to you if I’m struggling again .
Steven has been with me on my road to healing every step of the way. This is a man who really does care about his clients. Thank you for being such a rock when I've needed a friend, Steven. 5*!
